Cancel run

POST /api/v1/runs/{run}/cancel

Request a stop; the worker will finish at the next safe point.

Access

A Bearer API key for this workspace with write permission is required. The server also checks the owner’s permission for this resource and action. An inaccessible object is not disclosed.

Parameters

Path parameters: run. Use IDs from your own installation.

Example request parameters or JSON body:

{
  "reason": "Started by mistake"
}

reason is at most 255 characters. A finished run returns 422 already_finished. Previously saved data is not deleted.

Response 200

The example is shortened; actual responses may include more fields. Sample IDs are placeholders.

{
  "run": {
    "id": 4,
    "status": "cancelling",
    "site": {
      "id": 1,
      "code": "catalog",

    },
    "is_trial": false
  }
}
